About The Swords of Pendragon

The Swords of Pendragon was formed some time ago to enable a group of people to research and re-enact the little known period of history (and legend) of Arthurian Britain.

The group has continued to grow (and sometimes dwindle) but a hardcore of people have kept the idea alive and we are starting to greatly increase our knowledge of this period and, through the practical side, understand more of the life of the period. However the progress is slow due to the lack of true archaeolgical and other historic information, and the huge amount of mystic and legendary icing that has been applied to this time over the years.

We are planning some bigger projects for the future, including some war machinery, but at present we are concentrating on the development of the group and its goals.
