At the old Eugene Cemetery

These were very difficult to read but they say--
Benjamin P Naylor, Died March 30, 1859. Aged 66 Ys 4Ms & 15Ds. (the one on the left)


Mary Collet Naylor's gravestone (on the left) It says Mary, Wife of B. Naylor, Died Dec. 17, 1856.

I've never been to the site where this gravestone lies, but I hope to some day.

Certain family notes record the death of James Naylor as being in1825, at the age of 83 years, 11 months, which makes his year of birth either 1741 or 1742.  A rough field stone into which the letter "J" has been crudely scratched, was pointed out as marking his grave in the old Naylor burying ground on the Gift Ridge Ohio Farm.

This is all that I have right now, but I am planning another trip to the cemetery when the weather is warmer.  If you have a relative buried at the Old Eugene Cemetery, let me know and I try to find the headstone for you. I can also photograph it if you wuld like!
