Making this page is proving to be difficult. So I have decided to divide everything into sub categories... ( I hope ) So we have:

And just be kind and use the button I've provided to link back to little ole me. :) :) You know, I find life funny. I truly believe that everyone of us has something to offer each other. Maybe it's just an ear to listen to our friends when they have problems or need some advice. I really don't know. Years ago, I found my art and during the years it has been a good escape for me when I feel down or have things to sort through in my head. It is an accomplishment I am proud of, and watching people buy it is a feeling that is indescribable. It's like this little piece of me that these people take home. Through the years, I have had compliments on my work and the one thing that they always notice is the eyes. I once read in a book that once you paint the eyes on a piece that it demands to be finished. This is true, folks. Once those eyes are painted, that's it. You have given life to something. Now, that might sound silly, or downright crazy to some, but it's true nonetheless.
I think the one piece I am most proud of is the Santa I painted for my father. Him and my mother had ordered this Santa through the mail, and the thing looked downright evil. Most likely give kids nightmares instead of the usual sweet dreams of sugar plums dancing in their heads.... I'm sure there are other victoms of this said Santa and I hope you did like we did. Got the 9 mm. out and took care of that business quickly. Made a good target. :) If you would like to see Dad's Santa then click here.
In the past year, I have found myself not painting as much. Well..honestly...not at all. But for my birthday, I got this electronic pen and I was hooked. I'm not sure yet if it's easier...still figuring that out in my head. I hope this fall to get back to painting. My kids would be most grateful if I did when Christmas comes around..... :) :) Actually, when we would go to these markets that was quality time....now that is insane!!
By the way: I also paint interiors... :) My daughter is interested in the Runes...wondering what those are? Go here. Anyway, we painted a border in her bedroom with ivy and runes. I'm saying this and I hope it's true, but here is a pic of the border...OOPS...can't find the pic. Check back.. :)
