CHARLES F. SMITH (1877-1943)
Charles Frederick Smith, 64, highly regarded citizen of Warren for 23 years died at 9:35 this morning at home, 1233 South SE. He had been ill since June. Friends may call at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home from 7 to 9 Sunday evening, and services in charge of Rev. Gerould R Goldner will be held there at 3 p.m. Monday, interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Smith was born October 28, 1879, the son of Frederick Smith and Lucy Ann Roof . He was a steelmaker by occupation and was formerly employed at the Newton Steel Company. Mr. Smith was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Apollo, PA, of Warren Eagles Lodge and of the Protected Home Circle. Mrs. Smith died 11 years ago. Surviving are three daughters and three sons, all of Warren: Mrs. Janet Brandon, Mrs. Velma Smith, Mrs. Eva Wilcox, Arthur D Smith, Everett H Smith, and Lee R Smith. Also five grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Kate) Adams, Tarentum, PA and Mrs. Harry (Nettie) Cox, Cleveland.

EMMA CAMPBELL SMITH (1875-1932)
Mrs. Emma Florence Smith died at her home 1233 South Street SE Thursday night following four months illness of Bright's Disease. She was born in Shelocta, PA., February 12, 1875, the daughter of Samuel and Jane (Craig) Campbell and came to Warren 12 years ago from Vandergrift, PA. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church, Shelocta, PA. Surviving are her husband, Charles Smith; three sons, Arthur, Everett and Lee, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Fred (Janet) Brandon and Misses Velma and Eva Smith, at home, and one grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Saturday at 4 p.m. in charge of Rev. J. C. Smith. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

FRANK PEOPLES SMITH (1896-1960)
VETERAN B & O BRAKEMAN DIES
A veteran Baltimore and Ohio Railroad brakeman, Frank P. Smith, 64, 1161 West Market, died Thursday after suffering a heart attack in the driveway, at his home. He was dead when taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital at 10:40 am. A railroad employee for the past 37 years, he had lived in Warren since 1920. He was of the Presbyterian faith and a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Mr. Smith was born October 20, 1896 in Mahoningtown, PA, a son of John and Alice McRoberts Smith. He married the former Velma Smith in 1940. Surviving are his wife, Velma; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Goist, Girard; Mrs. Mary Metz, Youngstown, and Mrs. Laura Dilley, Canton; and a brother, William L Smith, Sr. Niles. Service will be held at the Roberts Memorial Home Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Niles Union Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. and prior to services Sunday.
