FAQ

Q: Who is Larry-Boy??!
A: Larry Boy is a character from the extremely popular "VeggieTales" videos by Big Idea. Larry the Cucumber and Bob the Tomato are the two MC's who introduce the shows. Larry first became Larry-Boy in VeggieTales episode 5 "Dave and the Giant Pickle" as part of a lesson on self-esteem. He then had his first full fledged adventure in episode 6 "Larry-Boy and the Fib from Outer Space!"

Q: Why is he a cucumber?
A: According to an interview with the makers of Veggietales, they needed to start out with something simple. Hands are hard to draw in computer animation, so they chose something that didn't have them ... vegetables! ;-)

Q: Who are you and what is your relation to VeggieTales?
A: I'm just a big fan of crime fighting cucumbers and VeggieTales in general. I first saw them at a friend's house with their three cute little daughters. Go watch some of the VeggieTales videos if you haven't already. They are excellent for teaching kids!

Q: Can I link to this page?
A: Certainly. However, if you choose to use resources found on this page, please give credit to the orginal artist/author.
